REVIEW BY: D.J. Williams - October 2014

Having stayed at the park for a long weekend in October 2014,(which we loved) my wife ,myself & Robbie (our trained, well behaved black labrador), we booked a 7 day break from 13th july to 20th july 2015. In October the facilities were minimal because it was late season, however. we expected the middle of June would have all facilities open & we looked forward to using them, it turned out to be deader than winter with clubhouse closed, no meals available, office closed when supposed to be open & unable to contact anyone either with the "buzzer" or on the 2 phone numbers (1 mobile). We had expected the park to be busy for this time of year & at least have a drink (& meal) in the clubhouse in the evening
The only person we saw was Andy, who seemed to be just holding the fort, told us the guy in charge of the club was away for a few days, SORRY. From our first visit I had recommended the park to friends & a few have visited however after this experience I would advise anyone thinking of booking to check exactly what facilities are available . We cut our holiday short & left on Thursday 18th, again nobody around to complain to & deposited cabin keys in box.
The park is a lovely place to stay, but management need to think more of their paying guests or people will stop coming, after all, the cost of the holiday also includes all the facilities showing on the brochure.
