We had been to this hotel 8 years ago with our son and hoped it would be as good this time. It was excellent.
The staff were the friendliest people that I have ever come across, they couldnt do enough for you. The food was excellent and plenty of variety with the head chef checking the food and service were up to standard on a daily basis. The animation team were fantastic and really made our holiday, we laughed the whole time - big thanks to Ramadan, Amir and Genu (tennis coach). The waiters worked non stop to ensure our table was clean and our glasses full and tried their best to speak the different languages - brilliant and good fun.
We met lots of lovely people from the UK, Russia, and Ukraine and hope to remain in touch with them all. Our room was cleaned every day and I am positive the maid changed our sheets and towels on a daily basis.
I can honestly say that anyone having any complaint about this hotel would never be satisfied with anything on offer.
My honst opinion of my holiday was 10/10. It is the best All inclusive holiday I have ever been on. We stayed at the Orange Apartments, the were basic but done the job. Staff and Entertainment team at both the apartments and the hotel were excellent. Food was beautiful. There was a wide range of things to do if you wanted to and if you wanted to relax then you didnt get harrassed by the entertainment team to join in, they left you to enjoy watching the goings on.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone and will be definately visiting again, the only bad thing about the holiday was having to come home! 10/10.
Been to many different places but this hotel is the best ever would reccomend it to anyone.. going back in June 2009 cant wait... the meals were good rooms cleaned daily not 1 bad point about it...
I have just returned from a 14 night stay at the Phaselis Princess, the holiday on the whole was very good but it could of been better. On the plus side the hotel was very clean, the staff were very helpful and polite, the selection of drinks was excellent with many international brands. On the minus side the food, although not awful lacked variety and when you have a 14 night stay this is important, also the animation team could of done more, although the second week they did make an effort with a few childrens games they could of got more guests involved in things. Another downside was the weather - the second week we had quite a lot of rain with a few major thunderstorms, the locals said this was unusual but it did affect our holiday. On the whole though it was a good holiday and we met some great friends.
Although we had a really good holiday, we feel there are a few tips to be passed on to future guests!
1. Sunbeds. It does say in the hotel info in your room that sunbeds cannot be reserved but that is ignored. If you want a prime position, overlooking the sea, you will have to put your towels out at 0515-no later than 0530. To get one near to the slide pool, 0615-no later than 0630 and any others 0730.
2. Breakfast. Staff are very reluctant to re-set tables after 0830. If you insist, they will.
3. Lunch. The beach grill is excellent, we ate there every lunchtime. It gets quite busy between 1130 and 1230.
4. Dinner. As with breakfast, the staff are reluctant to re-set tables after 2030. Again you must insist.
The speciality restaurants were good, especially the Topkapi which was excellent. Daytime and evening entertainment was very good, quite amusing and family friendly.
JMC reps (Robert & Stephanie) were excellent, very proffesional, as were the Kidsworld reps (Kelli, Emma & Jay) especially when they organised a slumber party on the evening we ate at the Topkapi, when they looked after the children from 1900-2200, brilliant!
Not all drinks available in all bars, so you need to do your homework and have a good memory as to what drinks you can or can't have at each bar!
Overall, a very enjoyable holiday, hope these tips come in useful!
