My new husband and myself arrived on the Wednesday morning of the 29th July to be greeted by hotel staff, and had our bags taken by the porter to our room very promptly.
On arrival to our room we had a bottle of champange a cake in the shape of a loveheart and the towels on the beds made up in the shape of swans with petals (what a lovely welcome).
The Hotel was beautiful, spotlessly clean, the animation team were fantastic for the adults and kids a full on entertainment program for water aerobics first thing to shows in the ampitheatre each night.
We had an a la carte meal paid for by thomas cook, petals on the table and first class service.
We will definately be coming back next year but will be bringing the boys, we met another couple who are proposing to come back with us. A good time had by all.
Best holiday yet!
I went to phaselis on 2nd of may, when i arrived i was very pleased with the accomodation, it really stands out from the rest, very clean and with a beautifull back drop of the taurus mountains. Stayed here for 2 weeks, staff are great, animation team are a good laugh, don't be scared to throw them in the pool now and then, hassan a new member of the team was really funny as they all are. Food was excellent, but a bit repetative on second week, weather for this time of year was 80-90, very warm but the locals still say its cold. Beach was a bit stoney, sea very clean, water sports are ace, loved the jet skies. Just out side the hotel you will find ally bar bars kebab shop open 24 hrs, owner is called ellis, very friendly guy, he has a head waiter, if you like, not sure of he's name, he was ok when we first met him but when ellis not around he is a total idiot and just wants your money after crap service, dont go there after a lot to drink as they try to sting you on price.
Town is good lots of shops, but you do get hassled a lot by the shop owners just say no thank you and carry on.
Straight up the road in front of the hotel you will find a restraunt called hassans, top class english food very friendly man.
I will go back here. (dudley)
I took 3 children to this hotel and quite simply enjoyed it so much that I re-booked for 2006 on my return. You will not be dissappointed. What really added to the holiday was the availabilty of sun beds all day. My children disappeared for 14 days and were never bored allowing me to relax. Evening entertainment was good and there are just enough shops to keep the most avid shopper happy. Market twice a week and everything on your doorstep. (Worksop0
We have just returned home from our all-inclusive holiday at the Phaselis Princess where we had the misfortune to be staying at the Orange Apartments! Although the staff were very friendly and helpful the apartments themselves looked as though they had`nt been decorated since the 1970`s. The beds were hard and uncomfortable and the bathroom was absolutely tiny with several guests complaining that they banged their heads on the wash basin every time they got up off the toilet! Upon arrival at our apartments we had about 5 minutes to get washed and changed before the over-crowded mini-bus left for the hotel. Why the bus times were so unflexible i`ll never know. The hotel itself was fine and the food was excellent. The rules regarding sun-beds seemed to be totally disregarded and staff just turned a blind eye. Perhaps an extra tennis racket or two would prove to be a good investment for the hotel as there are 5 tennis courts available but only 7 rackets. (MORPETH)
An excellent holiday overall. The hotel is spotlessly clean as is the poolside and beach. Food is good with quite a choice. The Theme Restaurants are excellent. The hotel staff are incredibly freindly and helpful most speak at least a little english and if not will find someone who does. If you want to play tennis or table tennis the hotels equipment is a bit poor so best to take your own raquets and balls but the courts and tables are great. Watersports are great with canoes and banana boats free as well as basic waterski-ing. The british holiday rep was a waste of time and my kids didn't use the kids club, too much fun to be had in the pool or sea!
Bars are open at different times but drinks are available from 10am-1am everyday and 2am when the soundproofed discos open. Downside is about 60% of the guests are russian/old soviet countries and can be very obnoxiuos and rude but not all. Also the 'international brand spirits' are probably not.
Animation team could do more to get people involved and is mainly aimed at adults.
If you want a sunbed reserved without getting up early tip the poolman!
We would come back again. (Peterborough)
