The Mirage Park hotel was excellent and in a great location right on the beach. Me and my partner stayed there for a week and the weather was fantastic. Plenty of choice at meal times with quality food and good service.
Rooms cleaned every day as well as the hotel, absolutely immaculate. Fantastic pool area with plenty of space and good pool bars for afternoon drinking [when your sick of the sun !]nite time entertainment is non existant but didnt put us off having a good time with our drinking partners from carlisle [brian + susan].
Having read the reviews before we went about the russians, must say these were spot on.
Rude, loud and never heard of queing.
Not much nite life outside hotel but still had a fantastic holiday, we would go back.
This is a Thomas Cook 5 star hotel featuring in their Finesse brochure. I am very disappointed to visit this hotel in 2007. I visited in 2004 after it was awarded best kept hotel in Anatalya for 2003, it was excellent. This visit in 2007 has left me speechless. 5 star hotel is now not worthy of 3 stars, poor food variety, with al a carte offering only two choices for main course and this was the same menu in both restaurants for a fortnight. Service in restaurants very poor due to lack of staff, had to get own drinks many times. No table clothes on outside tables for evening meals and many times had paper knapkins. Rooms were not cleaned very well with poor showers and very stained carpets giving an unclean feel. Poorly stocked mini bar. Had to que many times at bars in day and evening times due to only one bar person on duty. Unable to get drinks when entertainment was on this was unacceptable as temperatures were over 40 degrees and with several hundred people in one area you needed to at least get a drink. Poor air con which was controlled by management with many complaints every day they did not increase the air con and this resulted in uncomfortable nights plus it was unbearable in the restarants when eating food. This is not a 5 star hotel and certainly there is nothing finesse about about. Also too may Russions with few manners.
Completely not recommend. We also had food poisioning ??? This hotel is being run on a tight budget with customer not getting the 5 star service they have paid for
HAVING BEEN TO THE MIRAGE PARK APPROX 4/5 YEARS AGO WE WERE VERY UPSETT TO SAY THE LEAST , THAT THIS HOTEL IS NOW TOTALLY GEARED UP FOR THE RUSSIANS AND GERMANS !!!!!!!!! THE FOOD WAS C..P NOT EVEN WORTH A 1 STAR RATING ! THE MANAGMENT ARE ABOUT AS MUCH HELP AS A ' CHOCOLATE TEAPOT ' AND IF YOU DON'T MIND SPENDING A WEEK WITH RUSSIANS WHO ARE TOTALLY PI..ED FROM MORNING TO NIGHT THEN GO TO THE MIRAGE PARK ! THOMAS COOK SHOULD PULL OUT OF THIS HOTEL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE OR RATE IT AS 1 STAR NOT 5 !!!!!!!!
VERY UPSET EX CUSTOMER OF THOMAS COOK !
This was one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The hotel itself was well worthy of its rating, with well maintained grounds and clean well maintained rooms. The staff in this hotel were worth their weight in gold...working long hours but always ready with a smile on their faces. The food was excellent - lots of choice provided and always fresh and very well presented. Our Thomas Cook rep was lovely, the only let down being she promised us money off vouchers for travelling on our next holiday with the company which we never got (bit of a let down when I was planning to travel with them again in March 2006). Apart from that - no complaints at all. Lovely place to stay, especially in the winter months when the hotel was so quiet. (Torquay)
