A lovely place to stay, relaxing holiday. Very very clean, cleaners in your room everyday. In the perfect loacation, right on top of the beach, and right nxt to nightlife but its still quiet. The only complaint we have is that they dont really cater for the english i.e food and entertainment, makes you feel uncomfortable and out of place, manager in restaurant very rude!! Other than that, a nice hotel.
If we had known that they took block parties of STAG and HEN parties there is no way we would've booked there . Wakened through the night with shouting and banging of doors as they tried to get into there rooms (by night I mean 3 oclock in the morning onwards).
Unfortunetly they were all inclusive so they drank all day as a result there was as much shouting and swearing at each other as the patio where they drank over looked the pool area we spent our week on Son Matias beach!!!!!
Food was not that good we ate in Hotel twice the rest of our stay we ate out.
Hotel is in a lovely position over looking Magaluf beach there was steps going from Hotel directly on to beach which they used to as a result there was no escaping the noise they made .There was also families booked in this Hotel again they showed no respect for them either .We spent just over £300 each on this holiday and it was totally destroyed by them so be warned.
We arrive at the Hotel Flamboyan at 11.45pm we were given the key to our room. 2nd floor Hotel caribe at the rear of the hotel, we told the night porter that we were booke into the Hotel Flamboyan and had paid for a sea view room, he told us that he didn't have any rooms available in the Flamboyan and we would just have to go over to the Caribe until the next day. As we could see there was no point in arguing we decided to find our room we had to carry our cases down about 12 steep steps into the Caribe , when we eventually opened the door into the room we had been given what was no more that a larger single room with a three quarter bed looking out several very loud discotheques, the noise was terrible. As we were both tired we tried to get some sleep, but it was just impossible so we decided to go and try and get a coffee, which was the worst mistake as we were encountered by a group of boys staggering along the driveway into the Hotel using the most disgusting language and being very offensive. We went over to the Flamboyan and asked if we could get a drink in there the night porter told us the machine was out of order. We decide to go back to the room and wait until breakfast at 8.00am. Around about 5.00am we were awoken by another group of older boys running up and down the corrider banging on the door we rang reception but nobody came. At about 6.am we went back over to the Flamboyan and tried to wait in the reception until we could go out for some water. Which we later did. After breakfast we went to change our room and were told by a very rude lady that as we had't paid for see view which we had she couldn't do anything about it we showed our booking forms to her explaining that we hade also paid for twin beds . After about an hour she told us to come back at 3.00pm and she would see if she could change us. This we did
at last after a lot of stress on our first day we were given a room on the 4th floor of the Flamboyan with see view. The Hotel and its staff is not a 4star rating it could be given a poor 3 star as you are allowed to go into the dining room in bathers shorts whatever you please in the evenings, there is no snack bar and no poolside bar and no chef as stated in the brochure. Our opinion of the 4star Flamboyan is not a very good hotel and we would never reccomend it to anybody. There is plenty of food but the same choices after about two days.
