The Jungla offers a range of facilities, a great snack bar/pizzeria that serves late breakfasts and a full programme of daytime and evening entertainment. On top of that, the Jungla is 350 metres from the beach and in the centre of Magaluf, close to all nightlife

In my opinion the only place top stay im magaluf if you are on an 'all out' holiday. The hotel itself is cool with a dj playing music all day by the pool. If you sleep light this may bother you, it didnt bother me.

The girls were very pleased that there is security on the main entrance so that you have to prove by showing your wristband that you are a resident- made them feel more secure.

The hotel is large with its own supermarket, but it is probably better going to te spar round the corner. The strip and beach is a short stroll and a couple of bars down the road. In the town center there are deals on all the time so cheap food etc are in abundance.

Great place for a holiday, may not be suitable for the Blue Rinse Brigade.

WE WERE OUT IN MAGALUF WHEN A TYPHOON HIT THE ISLAND, THE WORSE IN 25 YEARS...

THE HOTEL CARETAKES WERE AROUND TO MAKE SURE THAT DAMAGE WAS REPAIRED QUICKLY, THE CLEANERS ALSO CAME AROUND.

THE SHOP AT THE HOTEL IS GOOD VALUE BUT AS WITH ALL PLACES SHOP AROUND.

THE POOL WAS MASSIVE I THINK ITS THE LARGEST IN THE WHOLE OF THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE ISLAND.

IN OUR ROOM WE HAVE A KETTLE, TOASTER, GLASSES X8, PLATES, SPOONS, KNIFES, FORKS, A TEA POT, JUG, BOWLS ETC. WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE FACILITES IN THE ROOM.

1st night a bit of noise but spoke to the rep next morning and it didnt happen again.

We WILL be going back to the hotel shortly we were really looked after.

"The fiesta jungla is a sister hotel of the sahara and tropico. All are similar from what I..."

The fiesta jungla is a sister hotel of the sahara and tropico. All are similar from what I can see but cater for different groups.

The jungla has an excellent location, 5 minutes from the beach by foot, 5 minutes to the main nightlife, 2 minutes to BCM's and a range of bars/restuarants, 10 minutes walk from Palma nova and for the fast food freaks not even 5 minutes to KFC, Macdonalds, Pizza Hut and Burger King! Its based on a side road so far enough away to not here all the noise from the strip but close enough to walk there with no problems. All the streets are lit well and generally safe.

For active people there is a sports centre not even 400 metres from the hotel called the council sports centre. It has an excellent gym/weights room and only costs 7.75 euros for a week. There is also a range of tennis courts, football pitch, squash courts and other facilities. Great for those who miss the gym at home like me!!

The Jungla itself is what I call a good value for money aparthotel. We paid £200 each for a last minute 2 week deal from Gatwick selft catering. Most people there paid £200 - £300 for two weeks so dont pay more!! The best thing about the place is the pool, massive and probably one of the best in the area. Theres so much space to sit and lay its unreal. Theres also a bridge people liked to jump off and for the really brave people the rock waterfall which is about 20 feet high!! (not meant to jump off these though!!) The pool is cleaned every morning and night including the pool area in what I can only say is a meticulous fashion. The cleaners do a great job and I cant praise them enough.

The apartments themselves are small but very well kept. We had a lounge with sofa bed with patio doors to the balcony over looking the pool, kitchen in the same room, seperate bathroom, with bday, toliet, sink and bath with shower over, bedroom with built in wardrobes and two single beds which was a bummer as I went with my partner!! Again patio doors to the large balcony over looking the pool. Each room had a ceiling fan which isnt air conditioning but kept it cooler than normal.

My only complaint about the room was that the beds were small and uncomfortable for a 20 stone man but my partner was ok! Spare pillows in the wardrobes and there's also a safe in there for 10 euros a week which is cheap.

Food by the pool was reasonable and cheap with a good selection but I would suggest eating out as there is tonnes of choice, the food is better and its cheaper.

Secong bad thing about the jungla was that the entertainment was crap, very very crap, and the drinks at the bar are very exp!! You are better off going to the shops across the road, buying your drinks in bulk and putting them in the fridge to drink round the pool or over the balcony.

Finally, the security at night was poor, and people will keep you up all night coming in from 1am to 6am so please do not stay here if you are not a party animal, its really suited for the 18 - 30 groups and I must say I struggled to sleep.

Apart from that great weather in June, lovely clean beach and good reps who look after you.

If you have any questions please email me on brett:strecruitment.co.uk or *****************.co.uk

PS - beware of the touts there are 100's trying to get you into the bars!!!

There was some confusion on arrival with finding our appartment in the complex, but after a few minutes we found it. Our appartment was on the top floor directly above the reception area with a view of the pool area. The appartment was clean with basic cooking facilities but who cared we were on holiday. The reps at the jungla were really good especially when one of my cash cards got stuck in one of the local cashpoint machines, once again many thanks to the reps. Magaluf its self i think is absolutely brilliant ive been coming here now for the last 6 to 7 years, and in that time have made loads of friends. Overall i would rate the holiday 9 out of 10. See you all in june 2005 (Bristol)
