Tholos - Theologos The resort of Theologos is situated on the Northwest side of the island of Rhodes. It is only 20 kilometres from Rhodes town. Tholos, sometimes called Theologos, is a magical combination of a colorful traditional village and a not bustling resort. In ancient times it was named Demos Istanion. There is a sprinkling of shops, tavernas, bars and restaurants around the hotels. Tholos has a beautiful beach. In the village, the traditional way of life is still widely practiced and the very friendly people give a warm welcome to every- body. Don't miss to visit the picturesque Agios Spiridonas church, with its lovely white bell tower. The old centre of Tholos is built in traditional Rhodian style.
