|I have been to Tunisia five times before usually about Feb-March and once before to Yasmin Hammamet and I have always enjoyed it. There is not a lot to do at this time of the year and a really good hotel is necessary. This hotel is not fit to be a four star establishment. |
The hotel is not anglised. Be aware that the breakfasts are continental style. There was no information in our room to indicate what was available within the hotel, grounds or Beach.
The standard of food was a catering disaster. It was mainly luke warm at the most. Any carved portions were miniscule and like OLIVER you had to ask for more which was received with surprise. There was usually something missing, i.e. spoons, plates, bowls.
The indoor pool was open to residents from 0700-0900, 1200-1400, 1800-2000, and was annexed to the hotel and was run as a spa/fitness centre. If you wanted to use the indoor pool outside of the above hours it cost £10 for half an hour.
It was bitterly cold in the public areas.

|Just south of Hammamet is the new and emerging resort of Hammamet Yasmine. The palm-tree lined promenade is adjacent to one of the longest, golden sandy beaches in Tunisia. This purpose built resort is already blessed with fine hotels, a marina with shops and restaurants, Carthage land theme park (entertainment for all the family) and an old-style Medina. This area is a thriving hub of action from dusk till dawn and can be enjoyed with all the attractions of the established resort of Hammamet on its doorstep.|
