| | Comments: | The facilities within this hotel were excellent. The food was very good (for Cuba ) and the staff were fantastic. The evening entertainment was outstanding~ very professional. The Thomas Cook rep was very helpful and informative. Unfortunately the weather during our stay was pretty bad but obviously this could not be helped ~ its just that as this is a very quiet place with nowhere in the vicinity to visit, there is only so much to occupy guests in bad weather conditions although the staff did their very best ( with various games etc. ) To summarise ~ a very enjoyable holiday with excellent service but it is not a place to visit if you want to get out and about as the nearest Cuban town is a 2 hour bus ride away. The poor staff make this journey twice a day ~ very often after a 12 hour shift. Bravo to the staff !
