| | Comments: | We were really disappointed with some aspects of this holiday.......if you like to queue then this is the place for you!
The hotel and pools are immaculately clean, but the restaurant is chaotic, the food unappatising, boring and very bland (yes I know its Turkey and not England & we are not fussy eaters, but to have chicken on the menu for 3 nights then meatballs for 3 nights is just a bit boring!). The plates and cutlery in the restaurant were not always clean (look through the pile for a clean one!), and the queuing was a nightmare.
The bars are OK, except to stop peoples greed they were refusing more than 2 drinks after 10.30, as I only wanted 2 soft drinks and a beer this was very annoying (we were a party of 3) especially as the bar staff could see there were 3 of us. There is also a lot of queiung in the bars, as they don't have enough staff - in my mind a ploy to stop people taking advantage of the all inclusive.
The staff will help you if you ask, but do not put themselves out. Except the first choice reps & kids reps were fantastic. The kids club was good but only work on a weekly timetable so by our second week my daughter didn;t want to go & repeat it all (other First Choice Hols we have been on have a 2 week rotation). Also the kids disco is aimed at the under 5's so my daughter was not interested.
We didn't think much of the entertainment, but its OK if you enjoy watching second rate shows.
Best thing about this place is the pools and waterpark.
The Games bar (10 pin bowling, pool darts etc.) was good and run by one of the most helpful members of staff.
After all that we did like Kusadasi, and ventured out most evenings in the second week for dinner (very inexpensive & some excellent restaurants).
