Built in 2003, the Best Benalmadena Hotel consists of a 13 floor main building and 6-storey annexe block and has a total of 280 rooms. Guests arrive in a large lobby with 5 lifts, a reception manned around the clock, a safe, a currency exchange desk and conference rooms with Internet access.
Situated just 150 metres from the beach, there are lots of activities for all the family in the area including beaches, a theme park, funfair and a sea life centre, with the Port of Benalmadena only 3km away. There are regular buses from outside the hotel with direct routes to the port, which has a good varied nightlife with bars, restaurants and nightclubs.

| | Comments: | We recently stayed at this hotel. This was a first time with all inclusive. From reading the other reviews the hotel must have taken onboard previos complaints as the hotel lobby was excellent with portering service and english speaking reception staff who were very polite. We had a lovely room with a huge bed and excellent cleaning daily. There was no tea/coffee facilites in the room but I think this is alian in Spain otherwise the facilities were great in the rooms including some free items in the fridge. The room service was good and not charged for.
The restaurant was lovely and there was always loads of hot and cold food including the chefs special even at breakfast and the waiters were lovely. We left (to come home) before the restauant opened in the morning and they arranged our breakfast for us in the resaurant.
The pool area was small but the outdoor jacussi was great. We didn't use the gym or indoor jacussi's. There was always plenty of sunbeds and space at the time we went and it was very hot.We may use another of their hotels in another area.
The entertainment was for children or families with young children but we joined in some of the daytime/evening entertainment and won some certificates and had good fun. There were only one or two english speaking people their but the spanish people tried to include us so it was a good laugh.
We only went for a week and had a really relaxing time. We didn't really venture out of the hotel so had a lovely rest.
However, I would imagine that in high season things may be different. All the lifts worked but we chose to use the stairs anyway - we needed to with all the meals we were eating !!!! Folkestone | | | First | Previous | Next | Last | |
