| | Comments: | After reading the reports from previous people they were talking rubbish when we arrived at the hotel 15 mins from south airport jct 30 picked up car from airport *********.com pay the extrs 3 euros a day 10 days £168 booked in uk pay on arrival. We thought we were at the wrong hotel marbel floors very tidy big rooms no kids in our room had one of there.
We were half board breakfeast was very varied excellent staff head waiter looked like the bloke out of euro trip (scusey)dinner was varied fish pasta ect and chips if your a porker but just try some thing different, drinks are extra of course and you can swap a dinner for a lunch if you are going here book half board and upgrade to all inclusive for 20 euro a day each, you have to do that for a full week cant do days we never did this they stop your all inclusive drinks at 11pm even though bars open till 12pm evening entertainment was rubbish ok for small children plenty of bars local come out of the hotel across the road then turn right down the steps big enlish pub on the left think its the castle bar funny comedian karoke beatifull sunsets becks 1.5 euros pint along the front brilliant fish bar 3rd one along massive paella 26 euros for two.
Tovicas market thursday and saturday we got lost come out of hotel turn right past shops past the iberostar on lft stay on this side turn left at end of road market isjust under 1/2 mile away also two mecardo hyper markets here watch your bags and wallets here pick pocketts are rife here.
Markett was pants, now out and about if you are going to mt tiede on a coach find out if the cable cars are working as in high winds its closed and minus 5 on top if you drive dont go through playa americas go vialflor as the views are brilliant you can climb tied permit from santa cruz water park is ok but expensive down load 10 discount voucher from aqua pk web site i was disapointed with this as i got lumbered for 90 euros 4 adults with outthe voucher and you have to pay for the lockers and the sun beds dolphine show was good there is a free bus. Down side is touts time share just ignore them the lookey lookey men are funny selling glases man with george t shirt on the beach thai massage 10 euros half body the man is best head massage great have a go on jet skis or bob diving bobdiving.com mad beach was great loads of eating places touts to get you into eat were as bad as timeshare if you like maccky ds i dont in uk but my boy brought me one and it wasent bad massive not like uk crap fruit man was funny on beach but beware he keeps giving you more ours cost 18 euros.
We always holiday in uk so it was a nice change so to sum up great hotel fixed my air con straight away room cleaned every day staff brilliant waiters realy great but make sure you ask for a pool view or you will get a view of the road pool okay bit packed 630 am towel pousey this hotel must be good full of spanish staff eat here here gym was good entertainment was poor good for kids i am looking for a week away with the wife next year i booked with sun star leisure 4 alduts 2 rooms bokked in jan 2006 went june 27 10 days £1550 dont have transfers 20 euros each way or hire from www.recordrentacar.com 15 mins to get car pay the waiver 3 euros aday xl.com.
