Built in 2003, the Best Benalmadena Hotel consists of a 13 floor main building and 6-storey annexe block and has a total of 280 rooms. Guests arrive in a large lobby with 5 lifts, a reception manned around the clock, a safe, a currency exchange desk and conference rooms with Internet access.
Situated just 150 metres from the beach, there are lots of activities for all the family in the area including beaches, a theme park, funfair and a sea life centre, with the Port of Benalmadena only 3km away. There are regular buses from outside the hotel with direct routes to the port, which has a good varied nightlife with bars, restaurants and nightclubs.
Rooms at the Best Benalmadena Hotel have a private bathroom, hairdryer, terrace, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, Mini-bar and in-room safe are available for rent.

| | Comments: | We enjoyed our holiday in Benalmadena. However, from the moment we arrived we realised that the Hotel Best is not a four star hotel. The reception area is drab, there was no porter, no pool towel service and the food was mediocre. It is also a good walk from the cente.
If you want bread with your breakfast make sure you get some while it is out as a couple of mornings it was not replenished after 8.45am. The same goes for sweets in the evening - get them when you can. The waiter service was good although we were never asked if we would like to taste the wine on opening.
The pool is small with no waiter service and the bar area drab. The grass was overgrown and there were pieces of glass around as plastic cups are not used - so be careful and wear something on your feet.
We had an unfortunate experience while staying at the Hotel Best with what we can only put down to a light fingered maid. My wife had her duty free (perfume and mascara) and magazines she had been reading earlier in the day go missing. We had only been absent from the room for a couple of hours. When we reported this to the Manager all she could do was shrug her shoulders and say she could not help. We were VERY disapointed by her lack of concern and she offered us no help whatsover - we felt as if she did not believe us. We did report the incident to the local police although we knew the £48 worth which went missing was not enough to claim on our insurance - this being one of the reasons we felt so frustrated by the Managers response as we would not lie about such a thing.
Having said that we enjoyed Benalmadena and didn't mind the walk from the hotel although it may not be suitable for some guests. We would not stay at the Hotel Best again but if you get a good deal on this accommodation it may be worth the money as the rooms are nice and many have lovely sea views.
