| | Comments: | We flew Easy jet and booked accommodation through Fleetway Travel. Flight cheap, loads of room on the plane unlike some cramped old package flights I have been on recently, overall cost far cheaper too.
Quick transfer’s from airport by taxi. In no time we landed in a nice room with a sea view. The room had a huge bed, handy fridge, complimentary water, also a telly with limited English channels.
The all inclusive drinks package was excellent with branded whiskey and vodka, bottles of San Miguel etc. In fact all the drinks re wine, sangria, gin etc could not be faulted for quality.
First impression of the hotel was of a clean modern design with spacious public area’s and corridors. The hotel was in a prime location with a gate onto the prom and beach. The dining room took a bit of getting used to because you where not escorted to your table by the person greeting you. It was left to busy staff to sort you out.
Once we got used to this we was ok.
The food choice was quite extensive my favourite being the quick grill bar. In the mornings the hot plate was used for bacon, fresh fried eggs and omelettes, whilst for other meals it was usually fillet of white fish, never a bone, chicken fillet, pork or beef.
Always piping hot and tender. We enjoyed a bottle of wine with the meal, always spot on. Regarding the bars. The pool bar was used up to 18:00 hours then the large show bar took over during the evening.
Special mention to the snack bar. Not the normal run of the mill. Freshly cooked food made to order and a good variety most free on all inclusive, very well presented and waiter served. Thank you
The stage was massive with a very well planned seating arrangement. We saw three professional shows and shows presented by the entertainment team. The amateur shows where of mixed quality and a couple of times we went out for the last few hours. Saw a great show at Prios pub round the corner wonderful swing type of singer.
The resort bars in general where reasonably priced with beer from 1 euro 25 cents upwards. The resort also had a nice promenade for walking along and feeding the famous chipmonks.
The weather was lovely in December always around the mid seventies, plenty of sun beds, no queues at the bar, smiling waiters. We went with friend who had stayed at a five star hotel in the resort previously but they said this was far superior. So yes, we would go back.
