I cannot knock this place....we went Christmas 2006 and celebrated the New Year there. And we have booked again for this coming Christmas - a recommendation in itself!!!! The only thing we were not fore-warned of is how the temperature drops in the evenings - it was absolutely freezing!! Bikinis and shorts by day - thermals/fleeces/coats/boots/hats/gloves at night -I kid you not!! And the 3 Corners has an open lounge - as in open roof and no back door - it is like sitting in a bloody windtunnel!!!! Note: If going Christmas and/or New Year, the hotel celebrations are held in a huge marquee, so try to find something dressy but warm. I have to say that there is very little for kids to do, if past the sand-castle building age; Most 7 to 16 year olds looked really fed-up. Halifax West Yorkshire
