Its the last word in luxury but the atmosphere is so laidback, youll relaxed and stress-free from the moment you cross the threshold. And the accommodating staff will go out of their way to put you at ease. So with all your holiday needs taken care of, youre free to make the most of your time in the sun. Slip into your swimming costume and head out to the pool. Pick a spot under a shady parasol and spend a few hours doing nothing more strenuous that reapplying your sun cream. The Spanish sun gets hot - but dont worry with both indoor and outdoor pools to choose from theres always room for a couple of laps to cool off. If youre bursting with energy theres plenty of ways to burn off your bounce. Work off your fantastic buffet breakfast in the gym. Practise your drop shot on the tennis court. Or, for a new challenge, try your hand at rifle shooting. All this and youre just footsteps from a swathe of soft, shimmering sand too. So when youve tired of all the fun and games, lie back on the beach and listen to the waves washing the sand as you drift off - this is the life. | | Comments: | The hotel was very nice, good view, very nice food, good entertainment at night. The rep was very friendly and attentive and very good at his job. The resort is very quiet - too quiet with nothing much to do so need good entertainment in hotel. A visitor from Portugal described Isla Canela as like 'world's end' and this seemed to me to be a good description.
Sands are kept very clean. This is a nice resort but nothing much to do, Ayamonte nearby is nice with good shopping facilities, there is a bus stop near the hotel to get there and plenty of taxis. We went to a Fiesta which was nice as it was Easter.
All in all a good holiday but wouldn't go for a fortnight - not enough to do. The River Trip on the Giuardiana River was nice but scenery all the same .... and still waiting for postcards to arrive even though we came back to UK on 15 April. | | | First | Previous | Next | Last | |
