A nice 3+ hotel in a Caribbean locale. The food was rather average, with a few nice dinners through the week, but even as a fussy eater I was able to find something to eat at each meal. The evening entertainment was often quite amusing, and afterwards we would go to a disco somewhere else. The beach area is quite nice with the property close to the water. Remember the golden rule - don't buy cigars on the beach in Cuba. Our friends really did get banana leaves! Take a trip into Havana if you get a chance - wonderful city to see. You can just imagine how beautiful it used to be. I would recommend this hotel as a great budget property.
