The modern Argo Spa Hotel is set in the tourist resort of Agia Marina, two kilometres from the 500BC Afea Temple, on the beautiful Greek Island of Aegina. The guestrooms have a bright decor with light furnishings and feature balconies overlooking the sea and swimming pool. All are complete with cable television, pay movies, minibars, dial-up Internet ports, direct-dial phones, and safes. The Argo Restaurant serves traditional Greek and international buffet dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and overlooks the sea on one side and the swimming pool on the other. At the Argo Seafront Bar guests can enjoy a game of darts or billiards, and sip exotic cocktails and traditional Greek Ouzo on the terrace in front of the bar with great views of the sea. | | Comments: | | The Argo Hotel lacated a short, pleasent though undulating walk from main shops, bar's etc. Family run, the Schinochoriti's could not have been more helpful and accommodating, a most welcoming atmosphere. The accommodation was fine, clean and tidy, though the brand new beds was a little hard! A childrens play area is available indoors where tot's can safely play, also a pool table and games area. The breakfasts where the best that I have experienced in Aghia, a wide range of the normal cereals, fruit,breads and meats etc, also a well prepared fry-up was available as a treat. We had a lovely holiday and the Argo helped make it so. | |
