| | Comments: | This truly was a fantastic place - read various reviews for the general outline, but the little extra touches were things like, flowers put around all the cigarette disposal stands (little objects d'art with sand on the top for smokers to put out their fags), every morning by the gardeners. Said gardeners making little things out of the palm leaves for you if you asked.
The pool bar staff getting to know exactly what your drink is as just plonking it in front of you before you ask!! Nothing being too much trouble, such as when they served snow crab legs in the buffet bar, i asked for some melted garlic butter...withing minutes i had my own bowl of the stuff!
The maid every morning would make some sort of sculpture out of our towels, sometimes two swans facing each other, a little doll looking thing, or something that resembles sjar sjar binks! however, all very thoughtful.
When daughter was buying gifts for friends back home she was a few cuban currencies short, but was told it didnt matter! (wouldnt get that in england).
All the locals waving to you as you pass. First Choice also have to get a mention for thier flights are second to non. The last time i was treated like royalty was when we travelled with virgin atlantic - okay so we upgraded on both, but still, nothing is too much trouble for the inflight crew.
I would recommend if you do decide to go on this holiday that you travel premier class - its worth a couple of hundred quid extra. You get to the resort before everyone else, and to the airport first on departure, plus all the upgraded films are free on the flight.
