Just back from Magaluf, Hotel Samos. Anybody that says anything about the Samos should just stay at home.
Just read the report from the assholes from B***********, you, up to your eyes in debt, idiots should just stay in spam valley and eat your pieces and cheese.
The Samos is spotless, room cleaned every day.(where else do you get that you clowns)
The restaurant is spotless, ok they seem to cater more for the English,(they can eat any thing) but you cant say the food is bad. Wheel chairs DO fit in the lifts theres even a ramp for them, so your talking Sh..e.
Right next to BCM and you dont hear anything, like anywhere else you hear the youngsters coming in at 5 or 6 in the morning but its not that bad,(they,re on holiday as well) if you dont like your room the reception will do whatever they can to get you another one.
That is 3 times we have been there and already booked for next year, so dont listen to these idiots that would say bad things about anywhere they stayed, I would recommend the Samos to anyone,(even people with kids)
Air con/ free telly, what the hell are you looking for if thats your price range for your holiday.
Ive stayed in lots of hotels and the samos rates as one of the best.
SO, ANYONE GOING TO MAGALUF, DONT LET THESE IDIOTS PUT YOU OFF THE SAMOS COS YOU WILL MISS OUT ON A GOOD HOTEL WITHOUT PAYING A FORTUNE.
Pools are good as well. Maybe see you there end of june 2013.
Holiday was good the only problem we had was with the transport to and from the hotel, that was poor(due to staff cuts by thomas cook)
No reps at airport, total confusion, had us down for 6 when there was 8.
On way back we were not even on the list, just got on cos the bus had plenty seats spare.(thomas cook get your finger out, this is not good enough)
Going back next year but not with TC.

Magaluf overlooks the bay of Palma and lies about 16 miles from the airport. Although a lot of work has been done to improve the centre and the resorts image, it still remains a favourite with the young, free and single due to the enormous amount of bars and discos at night. The biggest concentration of hotel and apartment blocks on the island, provide plenty of tourists for the many shops at the resort centre, while there is also a market at Calvia on a Monday. Water sports, go-karting, and a waterpark are all on offer for your daytime entertainment, with tennis and a golf course close by. The largest beach on the southern side of the island can still become crowded during the high season, and with the latest attraction, a glass sided submarine, there's never a dull moment here.
Like most of the popular European resorts, you'll find a huge amount of bars, pubs and restaurants here, serving every food combination you can think of. Plenty of fast food outlets give you the choice of burgers, pizzas and various fried chicken combinations with generous helpings of chips and salad if that's what you like. More traditional fare such as Sopa de Pescado (garlic stew with fish and tomatoes), Calderetas (lamb stew with almonds) and the fish specials Calamari (squid in batter deep fried) and Longostinos (giant prawns) are all worth a try. The local beers are as good as anything you'll drink back home and probably cheaper too. Wines and of course Sangria, are there to be enjoyed at every meal, and add to that the imported varieties and your drinking choice is endless.
