Address: Calderon de la Barca 4, Magalluf, Majorca, Balearic Islands 07182, Spain
This hotel is located in a very tranquil area and, at the same time, very close to the shopping and leisure centre and lively nightlife of Magalluf. The zone is very popular among British tourists and offers a wide range of different activities and entertainment. The nice, sandy beach is only 400 m away; there are many water sports activities held there. The hotel offers a buffet style half (in summer season) and full (in winter time) board in an air conditioned restaurant. During summer time you can also have a snack in the outdoor pool bar.

Just spent a week at the don Jaun hotel. Must admit was put of by other reviews posted about the hotel, but had already booked so went with the flow, glad we did.
The hotel is situated at a quiet part of Magaluf, only 10 min walk into the lively part of Magaluf, were there is plenty of bars shops and restaurants, and a lovely clean beach.
The hotel itself is clean and tidy and staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are of a good size, big double mirrored wardrobes,(when booking ask for a double bed) tv spanish channels only, big bathroom.
Air conditioned in rooms, although air con wasnt working in our room, staff got a fan straight away for us until it was sorted which never happened, but portable fan did the job.
The restaurant was also clean, always plenty of choice of food, hot and cold, plenty of pudding choice and different choice of fruits on offer, food was always kept well stocked up and tables were cleaned of straight away.
Pool area was kept clean and tidy, always plenty of sunbeds, snack bar on hand to, for drinks and food.
Would definitly go back to this hotel.

Magaluf overlooks the bay of Palma and lies about 16 miles from the airport. Although a lot of work has been done to improve the centre and the resorts image, it still remains a favourite with the young, free and single due to the enormous amount of bars and discos at night. The biggest concentration of hotel and apartment blocks on the island, provide plenty of tourists for the many shops at the resort centre, while there is also a market at Calvia on a Monday. Water sports, go-karting, and a waterpark are all on offer for your daytime entertainment, with tennis and a golf course close by. The largest beach on the southern side of the island can still become crowded during the high season, and with the latest attraction, a glass sided submarine, there's never a dull moment here.
Like most of the popular European resorts, you'll find a huge amount of bars, pubs and restaurants here, serving every food combination you can think of. Plenty of fast food outlets give you the choice of burgers, pizzas and various fried chicken combinations with generous helpings of chips and salad if that's what you like. More traditional fare such as Sopa de Pescado (garlic stew with fish and tomatoes), Calderetas (lamb stew with almonds) and the fish specials Calamari (squid in batter deep fried) and Longostinos (giant prawns) are all worth a try. The local beers are as good as anything you'll drink back home and probably cheaper too. Wines and of course Sangria, are there to be enjoyed at every meal, and add to that the imported varieties and your drinking choice is endless.
