| | Comments: | | After years of going on holiday as a couple I decided to have a short break to London as a 'solo'- I also had a very short business meeting thrown in. Still, I had plenty of time to explore London and visit some old friends. Anyone who doesn't enjoy London should just go off and vegetate in the Golden Sunset retirement Home for old fogeys. It's WONDERFUL. The shopping is fabulous, the shows are thrilling, and I simply adore Covent Garden. There's high-life, there's low-life and everything in between. As long as you have yourA to Z and avoid the rush hour,you can easily get round on public transport- and the bus conductors seem to have been specially chosen for their quirky sense of humour and ability to chat to the public. Everyone should go- actuaally it seems like everyone does! | |
