Comments:
The Chewang Resort Hotel was a last minute booking and on arrival we were given a poor standard room. The next morning we received an upgraded room, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is situated at the top end of the Chewang Beach Road and has a bewildering chioce of restaurants, bars, thai massage shops etc It is suitable for families and is in walking distance to Chewang Lake, nice for an evening stroll.

The two pools on the Hotel grounds are clean and the beach area is cleaned every morning at 5.30am. Lovely to see the sun rise!!

Food in the hotel is good quality and is comparable price to the main street outside.

Koh Samui has its own Tesco Lotus superstore to pick up any things you are missing from home.

A taxi ride around the Island is worth the 1200 baht, you can see the waterfalls and elephant park, Hin Yang and Hin Thai rock figures easily in 6/8 hrs.

The south part of Samui is quieter but the quaintness has gone ,high rised hotels are more common and the small family run beachside shacks are few.
