Shangri-la Rasa Sayang Please send in your pictures of this resort or hotel Report number 1 of 2 | First | Previous | Next | Last | Ratings: Location Accommodation Childrens Clubs Overall   View the individual category scores Add your Hotel Review / Holiday Report Details: Male Adults: 1 Date: September 2004 Female Adults: 3 Tour Operator: Number of Children: 0 Board: Flight Only Comments: We were originally supposed to stay in the sister hotel, the Shangri-La Golden Sands but having seen the rooms, felt that they were not as clean as they could be - hairs in the bath, a plaster stuck to the wardrobe, and the shower didn't work - we transferred to the Rasa Sayang. The rooms, although in need of updating were huge and comfortable. The food was great and the location was perfect for eating out, shopping etc. There was a free bus into Georgetown the capital which was handy, but be advised: book ahead, this is very popular. The activities arranged were fun with some prizes given out for competitions. Both pools were lovely and attention from staff was good. I would definitely recommend this over the Golden Sands.
