| | Comments: | Having just seen a very negative report dated 2005 about this hotel, I felt compelled to let people know about my family's experience at this hotel last year.
This was my first foreign holiday with just myself and 2 daughters and I can say that we had a fabulous and action packed time.
The hotel's lobby was beautiful and whilst checking in we were told we had been given a free upgrade to a suite. The suite was very large consisting of a double bedroom, lounge (seating area, table & chairs and two further single beds) and large bathroom.
I can honestly say the staff, food, surroundings and beach front location were fabulous and would recommend this hotel.
The resort is lovely, especially the Marina area, but the local shop keepers came across as extremely pushy in their eagerness to get you in to their shops, which did cause some worry to my daughters. Best advice is to politely ignore and keep walking.
We adored the culture of Tunisia and took a 2 day coach tour of the country, which although exhausting was unforgettable and well worth it. Camel rides in the Sahara and Roman ruins at El Gem being the highlights for us.
