The metro station is a short walk away as is the Elizabeth Bridge on the River Danube. The hotel itself is simply furnished with rooms being somewhat basic, but clean and comfortable nonetheless. Staff speak very good English and are friendly and helpful. There was an array of food at breakfast, but the breakfast room can get very busy late morning. However the hotels' strength is by far its location. Budapest is a wonderful place to visit for a city break. We stayed for 3 nights but could easily have filled another day or two. Budapest is more cosmopolitan than I expected, but is filled with history and culture. A river boat trip along the Danube is a must to take in all the sights that the city has to offer.
