Its location is superb, on the Funchal bay with easy access to Funchal. Lots of good (Cheap) local restaurants within 500 m of the hotel. Good friendly local staff. Very few children, so excellent for couples. Its location encourages exploration of the 'Old' town and the history of Madeira.
