It was good in that myself and my children could enjoy the holiday in the company of other lone parents, thus reducing isolation and providing us with a sense of security and friendship abroad. It was an organised itinerary. It was a five day holiday, the first day was spent travelling to Paris, the second day spent in Disneyland Park, the third day was a guided tour of Paris, the fourth day was another day in Disneyland and the fifth day was spent travelling home. Overall I enjoyed it. However, there was a downside and that was the queues for rides and attractions at Disneyland were very long and time consuming. It took 2 hours to queue up to see the Eifel Tower on Easter Monday, this is slightly annoying when you have very young children! Secondly one or two of the staff at Disneyland were quite discourteous and impatient! Thirdly our hotel room did not have a carpet and we did see ants crawling round the bathroom.
