The Sol Don Pedro Hotel Torremolinos is located in a select, peaceful tourist area of Torremolinos, on the seaside promenade of El Bajondillo Beach. The hotel is just 800 m from the city centre, 5 km from Puerto Marina in Benalmadena, 8 km from the airport and 51 km from Puerto Banus in Marbella. The Sol Don Pedro hotel has 344 rooms, including 316 double rooms, 28 singles and another 58 additional rooms constructed in 2002. Each of rooms has all the facilities needed such as a bathroom, direct dial telephone, air conditioning, satellite TV and a safety deposit box.
Facilities at the Sol Don Pedro include ping-pong, lawn bowls, entertainment program, social lounge, cards room, two outdoor swimming pools with separate children’s area and a recently constructed swimming pool, small swimming pool located in a quiet area of the garden, as well as the Jacuzzi.
There are some facilities that can also be used by guests at the nearby Sol Don Pablo, and Don Marco.

| | Comments: | The hotel was a total disaster from the moment we arrived we had nothing but problems to start with we didnt get a room we had booked in january we were first told that it was because of a canecelled flight they sent us to Benamadena to Sol Aloa Phorta this was ment to be a 4star, NEVER.
We went back the next day to then be given a room on the ground floor and the outlook that we had was a brick wall we complaint and were given the key to a room on the the third floor all we could see was a car park, they then gave us a key for a room on the top floor what they didnt tell us was the people were still in the room.
We did move our stuff into the room, it was a good room i cant remember what day of the holiday it was, i was getting dressed in the room my partner was in the shower, and as i looked in the mirror there was a man on the fire escape that was right next to our room taking pictures.
It wasnt a very good experiance i saw the man the next day he was heading back to the fire escape again, i tried to tell him that wasnt allowed he told me he was leaving that day i went to the reception and complained they told me he was from a tour operator and leaving.
I told them it wasnt good enough now the hotel are trying to say there was no view of a fire exit we are in discussions with them at the moment i wouldnt recomend this hotel to anyone.
The food was terrrible the reception staff were not very helpful at all, they have offered us 3 nights free as long as we book 7 nights or more, we wouldnt go back to this hotel if we got a free 2 week holiday.
We were never as glad to get home, it is all just lies that they are now telling globespan, i can assure them they havnt heard the end of this, if it comes to it i will go and take legal advice on the matter
