Facilities at the Hotel Fortina include 2 saltwater pools in lido, 3 indoor pools, 1 adults only, 1 for concentrated seawater thalassotherapy, 2 whirlpool baths, 1 indoor, daily sport programme, children's club, beauty centre, pilates centre, gym, Hypogeum Body Mind and Spirit Spa offering Chinese medicine, crystal sound therapy, ayuverdic treatments and Indonesian rituals, Thalassotherapy centre offering concentrated seawater and algae treatments and a Daily evening entertainment

| | Comments: | I have read previous reports of this hotel and can't beleive we went to the same place. The hotel was excellent. We had booked a garden room and were upgraded free of charge to a Garden room with jacuzzi on balcony and spa bathroom . There was always a supply of fresh towels twice a day and all the toiletries replaced as used.Houskeeping was excellent.
The restaurants around the gardens were of a very high standard and the service was excellent. We ate lunch in the self service once and there was a good variety of food but obviously we were already spoilt by the Standards in the other restaurants but people we spoke with ate there quite a lot and enjoyed it.
The Spa was excellent with numerous treatments available.
The only downside to the holiday was that we were offered a tour of the hotel and ways that we could save on future holidays not realizing this was a timeshare operation to sell rooms at the hotel.
We were told it would take max. 1 hour and it took 3 hours by which time we were at the end of our tether.
We spoke to some people who had bought the timeshares and were quite happy with the set up and we also spoke to people who were unhappy.
So beware!!!.
All in all an excellent holiday and there are some lovely places to see in Malta from which Sliema is a good bas as there are plenty of buses and boats from the harbour..
