Malta for us was everything we could have wanted. Our hotel the SAS Radisson Bay Point was superb, our room overlooked the sea (I believe all the rooms offer sea views), the staff were attentive and courteous at all times. The hotel ran a shuttle bus to local destinations giving us a chance to explore. Valletta the main town is very old with lots of charm, the upper gardens are fantastic with amazing views. The harbour tour is well worth it as you see Valletta from a different view point. Spinolla Bay is a must lovely restaurants that overlook the sea, hours spent watching the time go by (how I miss that). Sliemma is great for shopping all the well known stores are here; from Marks & Spencer, BHS to Next as well as some local shops selling traditional honey and nougat. If you have the chance visit the casino at the Dragona resort, its free to get in the good fun.
