| | Comments: | We have stayed at this Hotel twice a year for the last 12 years and indeed got married there in Sep 1997. However since control of the Hotel passed into the hands of the RIU group, standards have gone down badly. Onthe last evening of our holiday my wife was sitting at the dressing table doing her hair when the puffet suddenly collapsed throwing her on the floor and she bumped her arn and head and a front tooth got knocked out.
As she had only recently had two knee replacements she was unable to get up. I was on my way to settle the bill at the time. She managed to shuffle to the telephone to get help but there was no reply from reception. To cut a long story short the Hotel were most unhelpful and flatly refuse to pay for the tooth, although they did offer further holiday accommodation in lieu which in no way did we want after their unhelpful attitude.
I would strongly advise anyone against going to the Riu Cypria Resort in Paphos.
All thr group seems bothered about are profits, they couldn`t care less about all their long standing regulars of which there were a lot before Riu took over.
