| | Comments: | Well we booked this holiday after reading lots of reviews and summing up thaat they were mostly good.... Well when we arrived I must say we were pleasently suprised with the accommodation..2 bedrooms bathroom patio deck etc..the swimming pools were fine.. mushroom pool for tots, small childrens pool, shallow end of large pool going into deeper end, then another pool sectioned off for above waist height.
Food, although there seemed lots of choices, it soon became apparent that it was every meal time almost identical.. the childrens choices left a lot to be desired.. crab sticks mini hot dog sausages pasta and tomatoe sauce sometimes there was some pizza pieces but not often..and chips.
Sun beds... that was a joke,, yes there are plenty of beds but only if you are prepared to get up well before the crack of dawn to aquire them.. towels remained throughout the day on beds that werent used until late afternoon, I did complain to the hotel reception as on your iternary it states that reserving sun beds is forbidden and all towels will be removed by pool staff.
I was told by receptionist to tell the pool man where I wanted my sun bed and he would remove the towels that had been there all day left unattended...it didnt happen..
Entertainment.. well there were 4 animators in the team, although some of the shows werent what I personally would enjoy, I must say they worked extremely hard..all throughout the day they were doing darts, french bowls, keep fit, volley ball, water polo, poolside dancing, afternoon mini club, evening mini disco, bingo and then the main act of the night... they were really hard workers, plus as there were several nationalities they would repeat in all languages...
The real downside of the holiday is that you have to check out of your room at 12 noon...so if your flight isnt untill 11pm onwards and your leaving on wed (their busiest day)then under no circumstances will they let you keep your room on although they tell you that it can be booked for 40 - 60 euros on tues. when you go to book they tell you there isnt anything available.. you can book a shower room for 15 mins per person..
Drinks...yes you can drink as much as you like being all in, but the beer isnt brilliant,( watered down). I dont drink, but my husband chose to drink white wine the whole holiday as it was the most decent drink available...and that came from the barmans own mouth..tea coffee etc throughout the day, but once 12pm came there was nothing, no tea or coffee making facilities in your rooms, you have to wait until 7.30 am to get a drink.. any way I hope I havent put anyone off but a holiday is what you make it but this place just wasnt for me..have fun
