| Colossos Beach Hotel | | Address: Faliraki - P.O. Box 105 Rhodes Greece
The Louis Colossos Beach is on the wide sandy Kallithea beach where waterskiing is available. Across the road from the hotel is a waterpark with all sorts of slides and pools. Free sunbeds are layed out all around the sun terrace which encircles the freshwater pools. Children have a completely separate pool for cooling off from the Greek sun. | | Some of our readers photos of Colossos Beach Hotel / Faliraki

| | Comments: | An brilliant Hotel the management and it's people were excellent.
If you use a taxi from airport to Hotel it should cost around 18 -20 Euros and takes about 15 minutes.
Be aware that whilst you might be All Inclusive ( and your little green wrist band gets your meals, drinks and sunbeds around the pool free, you will however have to pay for the sun beds on the beach itself ( 3 euro each ), unfortunatley whilst you do get a ticket from the old guy on the beach he keeps comming back and asking if you have paid then sees the ticket shrugs and walks off!
You also have to pay for icecreams from the fridges at the bar/s ( 2 euros ).
Apart from that the Hotel is ecellent.
Take a trip to Falaraki ( you walk ), but catch the bus by the taxi rank acrooss the road ( 1 euro each ) or go into Rhodes town takes about 20 minutes again bus stop bang outside the hotel to the right of gates ( 1 euro 80 cents into Rhodes Town ), we were told 3 euro each but it wasn't the driver kept the money anyway and I didn't realise until we sat down and I looked at my ticket.
When you arrive at Rhodes Town Centre purchase a return ticket when yo get off the bus from the kiosk. It get a little hectic but you are better doing this before attempting the mayhem on trying to get on the correct bus ( No. 311 )back to The Colossus.
You catch the bus back at the very same spot as you alighted the bus appears to go on a circular route so it saves the hassle of trying to find the bust stop.
The only bad aspect of the whole holiday was the delayed Thomas Cook flight home should have departed at 23:45 on Saturday night we actually departed at 06:30am on Sunday morning!!!
The other might be the additional weight you might have put on when you get home I put 1/2 a stone on and we were only there for a week!
