Hotel Osiris Address: Maria Cardona 9 | Calella- Barcelona, 08370, Spain Top Hotel Palace is situated in a residential area of Calella, in one of the most attractive leisure and entertainment centres, only some 300 meters from the beach. All guest rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Each room has a private balcony or terrace. Hotel facilities include a mini-club, Cinema Video-Club, swimming pool, gymnasium and many more such conveniences. But this place!! After 3 nights I thought I was gonna have a nervous breakdown. The noise was unbearable. Rooms like boxes (and made of cardboard). The smoke in this place was unbearable. It hit us as soon as we arrived and I couldn't believe there wasn't a single smoke free zone - only outside which is useless if the weather's bad. We have a 1 and a 3 year old and there was absolutely nothing for them to do. All the kids facilites (which I believe are great) catered only from 5 upwards. The staff really do try their best and the beds were changed daily and rooms cleaned. The lifts broke down twice. We asked for a change of room and got one immediately - around the corner but the noise didn't get any easier to cope with. We definitely won't go to Calella again (and certainly won't visit Osiris - even if they rebuild it). There's a main road to cross (with no crossing) as well as fast train track to navigate before you get to the beach. Benidorm was paradise compared to this dump.
