| | Comments: | The Melia Hotel Barcelona is close to the centre of Barcelona (that is if Barcelona could be classed as having a centre being so large). We were on a short break there although many business people also used the hotel. I would say that the hotel is very suitable for both the holidaymaker and business traveller. If you are on holiday get a 2 day pass for the touristic bus - go north of the city one day and south the next. You can hop on and off all day.
Some really good tapas bars that are quite inexpensive and lively.
