The Hotel Bitácora is situated in an enviable position in Playa de las Américas only 350 meters from the wonderful Playa De Las Vistas beach. Conveniently located, the hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from the main shopping centers, bar and restaurants of the resort. With its flower lined balconies and subtropical gardens the Hotel Bitácora offers a pleasant atmosphere and excellent on site facilities with entertainment ideally suited for adults and children alike. | | Comments: | A great family hotel. We have stayed in Tenerfie and other hotels before but this offers lots of activities for children including a ball book area which is great for little ones and although outside is in a shaded area. Films shown during the evening in the bar area on the lower ground floor so you can have a quite drink whilst the children are being entertained and relax a little.
The rooms are very spacious and the VIP room is well worth the extra money to save on towels and enjoy the pool view. Balcony very spacious too.
Entertainment in the hotel was good and attracted couples from the sister hotel (the Vulcano) so get seats arely, although the main acts only started about 9.30 - 10pm.
Restauratns is great and also has a microwave for use if needed for baby food etc. Food is fantastic. In evening also offers separate buffet for kids which had things lke chicken nuggets, chips, sausages if they didn't like anything from main area. Buffet style with grill area steaks available every evening onto of other choices, only downside is you can't manage to eat everything and you do tend to come home heavier that you went!
We will def be goinb back and would recommend this to anyone with children to help your holiday be strees free.
