| | Comments: | The resort and hotel are refined, spacious and very pleasant. The food is varied and very good quality. We had a lovely room with limited views but secluded and peaceful.
Entertainment in the hotel did not attract us and we went out every night to a number of bars with a range of musical entertainment including Irish stuff.
The island is a unique volcanic composition with beautiful moonscape terrain and rugged hills sloping gently into delightful coves and beaches. The unfavourable exchange rate and tourist prices make it expensive but worth it.
Playa Blanca has a long promenade on which you can walk for miles and stop in a quality cafe and watch the world go by.
This would suit Hyacinth Bouquet but not a place for the Dingles. The trips are not highly recommended but the ferry to Fuertaventura is better than most.
