This attractive apartment complex is located directly by the beautiful beach of Los Charcos and thanks to its excellent location, this hotel is a firm favourite among return guests. It is a few minutes walk to the centre of Marinero with its many sights such as the Cesar Manrique Museum, a cactus garden and the Montaņa del Fuego in addition to the small town of Arrecife. | | Comments: | We booked this holiday and then I read the reports on this site and wondered if we had done the right thing!!
The apartments were very nice and not a sign of a cockroach! There were 6 of us so we had a 2 bedroom apartment in Plaza Del Sol. Each set of apartments have their own pool which was great - meant there were never too many people around the pools at any one time.
The private beach with its own lagoon was lovely and not deep so we could relax a little with the children. The main beaches of Costa Teguise were a little rocky but it didn't stop us enjoying building sandcastles.
The only downside of the whole holiday was that we had to keep reminding the cleaning staff that there were 6 of us as they kept leaving 3 clean towels each day NOT 6. This got a little annoying by the end of the second week but all in all we had a great holiday and I would recommend Sands Beach villas to anyone, we would certainly go back!
