| | Comments: | All reps were very polite and wouldn't pass you on the complex or off without saying hello, the rooms were of quite a good standard and the pools were fantastic, but thats about all that was good about it.
The food at breakfast was resonably good but lunch and dinner were poor, pale, limp, greasy chips every meal time. Very little in way of vegetables and altough a good variety of things were on offer nothing seemed to go together to form a decent meal and to be honest the quality wasn't great.
We originally booked self catering but later found that although its offered as self catering its not a good idea to go anything other than all-inclusive due to high prices at the on site shop and the fact that there is no-where off site to buy food without taking a bus or taxi ride.
The all-inclusive offer cost us £210 per person including my 3yr old son, ok if it had been all inclusive but ice cream was only available at certain bars and was a small yoghurt type pot and nothing else even though they had signs showing novelty icecreams at the bars these were NOT free neither were the crisps, basically your drinks were free your meals were free and you could get certain snacks, mainly burgers and chips free at the poolside bar, these snacks were far better quality than that of meal time but the portions were tiny!
This complex is great for those people wanting to off load their kids into kids clubs and go off drinking but for a family wanting to spend time together the evenings were a huge let-down and we were back in our room watching tv within 2 hours of leaving it.
Not what i expected after spending £1700 on booking it 2 weeks before going. to make the most of your holiday visit the zoo at fuengirola and those wanting to do some shopping the centre at Myramar Fuengirola was good too.
