The Hotel Bali is a lively complex consisting of three interconnecting blocks, offering a warm welcome, good service and plenty of daytime and evening activities. The accommodation is in two interconnected hotel blocks, or in the studios, which are also interconnected. It is an ideal hotel for families and young people and is situated at Benalmadena-Costa just 250 metres from the beach and is close to the famous Puerto Marina yacht basin, the Tivoli funfair and the La Paloma park.
Rooms at the Hotel Bali have balconies, air-conditioning and heating, telephone, cable and satellite television, full bathroom and an optional safe.
Facilites at the Hotel Bali include two swimming pools for adults with bar services and lawns and one for children, arge terraces with hammocks and parasols, children's' playground, a varied daytime entertainments programme and shows and activities every night, archery, mini club with snacks, bouncy castles, face painting, mini discos, shooting, petanque, football, and water polo. At night enjoy the best traditional flamenco dancing from the area, live music and shows.

| | Comments: | We stayed here in July, first impressions as we arrived at the hotel - fairly average from the outside. It was set on a fairly steep slope but this didn't bother us at all but it may be a problem for those with mobility difficulties.
It's about a ten minute walk to the promenade and beach, a little further to the pretty white washed Marina. There are lots of fishing trips available from here but make sure that you shop around. There is also a Sea life Centre. If you want lively night life and plenty of bars then 24 hour square is only a fifteen minute walk away.
Check in was prompt and efficient, we had booked a half board stay through Thomson but decided to upgrade to all inclusive, this was easy to do at reception it cost 15 Euros per person per day.
Our room was in Bali 2, it looked as though it had been recently decorated, it was clean and adequately furnished. It had a TV, air con but no fridge and there were the usual complimentry toiletries. We had a balcony and a nice pool and sea view, nothing to complain about there.
Weather fantastic, plenty of sun loungers and parasols, we had no difficulty finding them each morning. There was a good mix of Spanish and British guests when we stayed.
There were two large swimming pools, a little too cold for me but fine. The hotel had an animation team who worked very hard both day and night with the usual mix of shows and dancers. There was also Kareoke inside most evenings.
The bar staff were generally not very friendly and on occasion would turn away and start to attend to other things when they had seen you waiting to be served, but they were very busy and not may customers remembered to tip them.
Now for our only but biggest complaint - the awful food!!!! Firstly it was like a canteen, very crowded and lots of queueing. There were waiters but they didn't set your table, you have to to it yourself. They told us this was to save time but we have never had to do this before.
Meals were buffet style, breakfasts weren't too bad but the coffee in the coffee machines was like dish water however the coffee at the bar was excellent.
We found the evening meals to be of a very poor standard with lots of poor cheap quality cuts of meat such as belly pork which we were offered on two sucessive days lunch and dinner, lots of processed food such as chips and chicken nuggets.
There were some Spanish dishes which were nice.
Due to the poor standard of food we asked to be moved to another hotel after three days. The thompson rep was very helpful and efficient and after charging us an additional 99 Euros we moved to another hotel in Fuengirola.
Would I visit this hotel again - no not unless the quality of the food was dramatically improved, but I loved Benamadena and the Marina.
