Description
Samos is only about 2 miles off the Turkish coast, and with it's mountains and flatlands of the vineyards, is one of the most popular islands for visitors in the whole of Greece. 12 miles wide and 27 miles long, it has a good road system for touring it's Olive groves and small farms. The main holiday resorts are at the eastern end of the island, but the best beaches seem to be on the western side.
