Description
Pelekas is a small typical Corfu inland village with narrow streets and traditional churches, close to a series of spectacular Corfu beaches on the island's stunning west coast. Within easy reach of Pelekas, are some of Corfu's best beaches, with wide stretches of deep, golden sand. Nearest to the village, and accessible via a free minibus service, is the beach of Kontogialos, or Pelekas Beach, with its golden sand gently sloping into the sea. There are four tavernas along this beach. About 4km away is Ermones beach - Situated on a bay, it has a small beach of shingle and pebble.
