Description Ortakent is a friendly village a few miles west of Bodrum town and has a seafront of small restaurants and cafes as well as a long stretch of beach. Other places to visit on the peninsula include the neighbouring village of Bitez, with its large bay and excellent windsurfing and sailing conditions. Bodrum itself is less than 20 minutes away and you can get there either by taxi, dolmus (the local turkish bus service) or by the minibus service operated by the hotel (payable locally). Bodrum offers a fascinating mix of local seafront restaurants, cosmopolitan bars, amazing history and architecture and local craft shops where a bit of a haggle is par for the course. As a treat you should experience a proper Turkish massage which, actually enhances your holiday tan! Ask the team at the hotel to point you in the right direction
