Niederau and Oberau lies in the truly unspoiled white corner of the Tyrol, it offers the chance to experience life and skiing at a very relaxed pace. Ski holidays here are for families with skiers of varying standards. Niederau is the first and largest resort in the area and Oberau, which is only a short distance away, is a smaller village. The skiing here is most suited to beginner and intermediate skiers. There are a limited number of black runs from the upper slopes of Schatzberg suitable for advanced skiers. Après ski and evening entertainment is lively and varied with something to suit all kinds of taste, whether it is a moonlight sleigh ride or music and dancing at one of the local clubs or bars.
