Naxos has it's own airport and is the largest of the Cyclades islands. The capital and Naxos town, form the main hub of the tourist industry, with lots of small hotel and apartment blocks on offer. A great place for touring, the resort of Agios Georgios has a great beach, but can get quite crowded in the high season. Others like Agios Prokopios and Agia Anna have sandy bays, and all resorts offer some kind of water sports to try. The shopping is best in Naxos town, but all areas provide the normal supermarkets and souvenir shops to cater for all your holiday needs. Plenty to see and do during the day, while the night time brings enough bars and the odd disco to keep you busy throughout the evening.
