The resort of Kamari lies on the south of the island, and with it's very long beach, it's always been a holidaymakers favourite. Enjoy the excellent Greek cuisine and have a drink in the child friendly bars and tavernas as you stroll the cosmopolitan beach promenade. Not for beach lovers as it's mostly shingle, but the sea is warm and inviting during the long summers months, so this really is a resort not to miss when visiting Kos.
