Description

Costa Calma is a wonderful beach resort at the south end of the island. There is a 12 mile stretch of white sandy beach which runs to Morro Jable on the southern tip of Fuerteventura. Costa Calma is very popular with windsurfers. There are a number of hotels and apartments with various star ratings, most of which are close to the sea. There are also a number of shopping centres with various bars and restaurants. Although Costa Calma is very beach orientated there is still some nice areas of green belt accommodating local wildlife.
