Description
Corfu town lies half way down the east coast , and is less than 2 miles north of the islands airport. Traditional Georgian mansions, churches and Venetian monuments form a marvellous blend to the more cosmopolitan areas where the population is almost trebled in the high season, with the influx of tourists. The town is renowned for it's sophisticated shops and various historic buildings including it's 2 castles. The beaches are man made and mainly shingle, and the night life consists of bouzouki night clubs, discos and tavernas.
