Description
Situated on the west coast of the island, south of San Antonio the resort of Cala Tarida is in a large sheltered bay with a broad sandy beach. Most of the accommodation in the resort is to be found in hotel complexes which provide a variety of sports and entertainment. There are a few bars, shops restaurants and a supermarket within the resort. You can explore further by way of the regular bus service or the ferry to the Bay of San Antonio. For the more energetic there is a choice of watersports and a dive centre on the beach. The resort is in a hilly location and may not be suitable for those people with walking difficulties. Airport transfer time is approximately 30 minutes
